1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the LangaPress website and your purchase of digital products from LangaPress. By accessing our website or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. About LangaPress

LangaPress is a Dutch digital educational publisher that produces vocabulary and grammar books for Ukrainian-speaking learners. LangaPress is a Dutch sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) operated by Casper Lafeber. Full business identification is published in our Legal Notice / Imprint.

3. Digital Products

LangaPress sells digital products including e-books, PDFs, audiobooks, courses, and digital resources. Upon successful payment, you receive a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to download and use the purchased content for personal, non-commercial use.

4. CEFR References

Our products are organised by CEFR level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2). LangaPress products are CEFR-aligned according to LangaPress/LEOS criteria. We do not claim official CEFR certification unless evidence of such certification exists.

5. Orders

An order is confirmed only after successful payment. LangaPress reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order before payment is completed. Once payment is confirmed, the order is processed and digital delivery occurs.

6. Payment

Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise indicated.

7. Customer Account Creation and Linking

You do not need a pre-existing account to complete checkout. After a successful purchase, your order is linked to your LangaPress account. If no account exists, a new customer identity may be created and you may be invited to activate your account.

8. Digital Delivery

Digital products are delivered electronically. Upon successful payment, purchased items are immediately available in your online library for download. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary software and hardware to access digital content.

9. Permanent Library Access

Your purchased products remain in your library. You can access and download them at any time, subject to the download limit. No subscription is required for one-time purchases.

10. Personal-Device Use

You may access and use purchased content on your personal devices for your own learning. You may not share, resell, or distribute purchased content to third parties.

11. Five-Download Policy

Each digital product may have a download limit, typically 5 downloads per purchase. This limit ensures fair use and protects against unauthorised distribution. If you need additional downloads due to technical issues, please contact CasperLafeber@langapress.com.

12. Product Licence

When you purchase a digital product, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use that product. The licence is granted to you as an individual and does not extend to other users.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the LangaPress platform, including digital products, website design, logos, and text, is owned by LangaPress or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. See our Copyright / IP Policy for details.

14. Prohibited Redistribution

You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from our digital products. You may not share, resell, or sublicense purchased content to third parties. Unauthorised distribution violates copyright law and may result in suspension of access.

15. Prices

The binding price for any product is the price shown during checkout. While we may display reference prices in our catalogue, the price confirmed at checkout is the price you pay. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed.

16. VAT and Tax

Value Added Tax (VAT) is applied based on your country of residence and the type of digital product purchased, in accordance with EU and international tax regulations. Digital educational publications may qualify for a reduced VAT rate where applicable. B2B customers with a valid EU VAT number may be eligible for reverse charge.

17. Invoices

An invoice is generated for each completed purchase. Invoices are available in your customer portal. If you need a corrected or additional invoice, contact langapress.finance@gmail.com.

18. Product Updates

We may update or correct digital products after purchase. Where a product is updated, you may be entitled to download the updated version from your library, subject to the download limit.

19. Refund and Withdrawal

Our refund and withdrawal policy is described in our Refund / Withdrawal Policy. Please review that document for information on refund eligibility, procedures, and your statutory consumer rights.

20. Availability

We strive to maintain platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, and circumstances outside our control may temporarily affect availability.

21. Educational Disclaimer

LangaPress products are educational materials. Completing a product does not guarantee any specific language proficiency outcome, certification, or examination result. Progress depends on individual effort, study habits, and prior knowledge.

22. Fraud and Misuse

We may refuse orders, suspend accounts, or revoke access where we detect fraud, chargeback abuse, unauthorised redistribution, or other misuse of our platform or products.

23. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to your account and library if you breach these Terms. Suspension does not affect your statutory consumer rights regarding products you have already purchased.

24. Liability

LangaPress is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

25. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law, including statutory warranty rights and the right of withdrawal where applicable.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer dispute resolution rights you may have.

28. Contract Formation and Order Corrections

Product information and displayed prices are invitations to purchase. The contract is formed when payment is accepted and we confirm the order. Before payment, you can review and correct the items and information submitted at checkout. We provide the order confirmation on a durable medium where the available communication infrastructure permits.

29. Digital Content Conformity and Updates

We are responsible for supplying digital content that conforms to the contract and for remedies required by mandatory consumer law if content is defective, inaccessible, or materially different from its description. Contractual download limits and licence restrictions do not remove these mandatory rights.

30. Changes to These Terms

Changes apply prospectively. Material changes that negatively affect existing ongoing access will be communicated with reasonable notice where required. No amendment removes rights that arose under a confirmed order or mandatory law.
